Good Morning:

This year is the first time in decades that my Tarpon season was not sold out more than six months in advance, however with our economic downturn many Tarpon anglers have decided not to come to the Keys for Tarpon this year.

After several recent prime time cancellations I now have the following Tarpon dates available, as in the past the good prime time night time tides are in red while good daytime tides are in black. I have both my 16 foot Dolphin super skiff and my 20 foot Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman in the Keys so there are more fishing options available this season.

April: 26, 27, 28, 29, 30,
May: 2, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21
June: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,

Many anglers have dreamed of catching a giant "Silver King" on fly, but never had the opportunity. For years guides were sold out a year in advance which made it difficult to book dates during prime time. This year I have quite a few prime time Tarpon dates still available. Due to the light fishing pressure this year I predict that Tarpon fishing will be very good this season.
