For Immediate Release
We want to extend a thanks to all of you who have supported us over the years. We are still here and Grey Reef is as good as ever. For those of you who have not visited us for a couple of years, there have been some changes at the North Platte Lodge, The Reef Fly Shop and the venue. The North Platte Lodge has undergone a face lift. The most recent changes (just completed for the 2009 season) are in the guest rooms. They have been revamped and are more comfortable and cozy...even than before. We have also added some outside tables for those you who enjoy breakfast, overlooking the river, on the back deck. Visit us at www.northplattelodge.com The Reef Fly Shop has added excellent product lines over the past couple seasons. Including Scott Fly Rods, Bauer and Ross Reels and Simms Fishing Products. Our fly bin has also been updated over the winter. We have added many new custom patterns that are very effective and only available at The Reef Fly Shop. Visit us at www.northplatteflyfishing.com The North Platte River is still right where we left it, but we have mixed it up a little bit. Many of our guests have had the opportunity to fish Miracle Mile. This has become a very popular destination while fishing with the lodge or fly shop. Trips to the Miracle Mile cost an additional $30/boat. We still have 17 miles of exclusive private Grey Reef access for our guests and private boat ramps to easily access the best sections of the river. The past couple of seasons have seen some of the finest dry fly fishing. The morning Trico hatch has been spectacular and the evening caddis has been very productive as well. This usually happens in July and August. Bring your nymphing, dry fly and streamer rods! We are aware that some folks will be scaling back their vacations this year. The North Platte Lodge is a very reasonable fly fishing destination. We pick you up at the airport and take care of you while you are here. We prepare all of the meals, and your guide will meet you right ouside of the lodge in the morning. Our prime location means that you spend all of your time on the water and not in the car. We are looking forward to a great 2009 season! Erik Aune and Trent Tatum For more information, visit www.northplatteflyfishing.com

The spring 2009 fishing season is upon us and the North Platte River is in excellent condition. The fish are fat, healthy and are very willing to eat!
