Two New Burger Yachts Depart for Ft. Lauderdale

Manitowoc, WI, U.S.A.—October 10, 2008 — Burger Boat Company is proud to announce that within six days two new custom built Burger Motor Yachts have left Manitowoc and are bound for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in late October.

INGOT, a 153′ (47m) Tri Deck Motor Yacht departed on October 2, 2008 and TÒ-KALÒN, a 101′ (31m) Enclosed Bridge Motor Yacht departed October 8, 2008 from Burger’s Manitowoc, WI USA shipyard.

INGOT, a collaboration between the renowned Burger Design Team and Vripack in the Netherlands, is designed to be an environmentally friendly “go anywhere” exploration vessel with the refinement of a classic and stately motor yacht. This yacht offers an exquisite design throughout her 5,025 square feet (467 square meters) of interior accommodations and 4,150 square feet (386 square meters) of exterior deck and leisure space. From Fort Lauderdale INGOT will travel to her owner’s home port in Palm Beach Florida where their plans include extensive cruising throughout the world. INGOT features brilliant details and amenities ensuring pleasant cruising for owners and guests wherever she travels.

TÒ-KALÒN, a contemporary-styled custom 101′ (31m) Enclosed Bridge Motor Yacht is built for speed. With styling by Cor D. Rover and Naval Architecture by Donald L. Blount and Associates, TÒ-KALÒN incorporates extensive use of strong, lightweight materials resulting from carefully calculated design and engineering parameters. TÒ-KALÒN’S interior revolves around the Sapele paneling with accents of Sapele Pomele which flows throughout the Main Deck Salon and guest accommodations providing the perfect background for traditional furnishings. The yacht features a beautiful centrally located open spiral staircase crafted from select Sapele veneers and hardwoods accented by a custom brass balustrade with antique bronze finish supporting the Sapele hardwood handrail. The Sky Lounge features leather Chesterfield sofas and a domed ceiling which was painted by a New York artist in a motif embracing the Yacht’s name.

The owners of TÒ-KALÒN wanted a unique vessel unlike others docked at marinas and seen along the waterways. Having done their homework, they knew that Burger, a custom yacht builder, was their right choice. Owned by an experienced yachting family from the United States, the owners are looking forward to entertaining family and friends during their many planned cruises.
