Serving up the best hospitality in the west since 1962, Greenhorn Creek Dude Ranch and Resort is the perfect western getaway to enjoy High Sierra fishing! Though horseback riding is a main activity at Greenhorn Ranch, the region, known as Feather River Country, is well-known for world-class fly fishing, lake, river and stream fishing, hiking, mountain biking and golf. Our horseback riding trails traverse Plumas National Forest in Northern California's most scenic region of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Summer is packed with western activities like swimming, frog racing, fishing derbies and rodeo games ! Spring offers the perfect setting for meetings, retreats, family reunions, mountain weddings and other special events. Mid-Week Special for Spring
A great way to escape the city and celebrate the wildflowers of spring or the splendor of the fall colors! When you visit the Ranch anytime between Monday and Friday, enjoy all our great western activities, amazing horseback-riding and delicious chuck-house cookin' for 10% off the regular shoulder season daily and weekly rates! $250/day for adults and $175/day for juniors. Or, just book your trip for all of Monday - Friday and stay for only $1250/adults and $875/juniors. We still have two horseback rides a day, 3 delicious meals in the chuckhouse and some on the trail as well as fun evening activities!

Cowgirl Bootcamp May 8-10
Four days of Fun, Friendship and Trail Riding! Enjoy quality time with friends and share the High Sierra experience with like-minded women!

This weekend retreat includes our world renown trail riding, a great gift bag, group riding lessons, dancing, morning stretches, and sharing tales around the bonfire; all for $500 per person. Heck, if you want to stay longer, we'll throw in a special Mother's Day Dinner on Sunday Night! Check in is Friday for a trail mixer in the saloon and check out is after the afternoon ride on Sunday. This event is open to women and friends, moms and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren. $500
